communicating excellence
Twenty smiles of our glory
Thanks to Rosilde Pilliteri and Laura Fraboschi, the association "Moda in Italy" is created in Milan, with the aim to promote young fashion talents and "made in Italy".
The first initiative of the association is to organise an event-exhibition.
At La Rinascente - Piazza Duomo in Milan, 20 great portraits are put on display by the painter Fulvia Levi Bianchi, who the critic Pierre Restani defines as one of the greatest contemporary portrait painters.
During the gala, the mayor Carlo Tognoli gives a special recognition to the designers Giorgio Armani, Krizia and Ottavio Missoni for their merits.
For the occasion the shop windows of La Rinascente are fitted out by Franco Moschino.

The portraits of the top personalities of the glamorous Milano included:

Adriano Celentano, Andrea Cascella, Bettino Craxi, Camilla Cederna, Carla Fracci, Carla Venosta, Carlo Tognoli, Edilio Rusconi, Giorgio Armani, Giorgio Strehler, Indro Montanelli, Krizia, Marisa Bellisario, Ornella Vanoni, Ottavio Missoni, Paolo Pietroni, Rina Brion, Silvio Berlusconi, Umberto Veronesi, Valentina Cortese.
